Description

This charming set consists of two original Victorian stoneware pots from England, circa 1900. Both pots bear a beautiful black advertising inscription and reflect the typical style of the time:

  1. Virol – “The Ideal Food”: A container for Virol, a bone marrow preparation that was advertised as an ideal food for children and invalids.

  2. Hailwood's Cream – Manchester Creamery: A stoneware pot for creamy dairy products from the famous Hailwood's Creamery in Broughton.

The small jugs captivate with their authentic patina and slightly rustic appearance, making them sought-after decorative objects for collectors, lovers of brocante decor, and the English country house ambiance. Both pieces are in very good condition for their age, with small, charming signs of wear – exactly what makes them true vintage treasures.
