Vintage brooch with crescent moon and medallion loop - Victorian 19th century
Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout
This decorative vintage brooch in a crescent design combines a stylized cloverleaf motif with an elegant, curved shape. The rose gold-filled design is typical of Victorian-era jewelry, where crescent shapes were frequently used as symbols of good fortune and change. At the center of the brooch is a finely crafted cloverleaf , traditionally considered a lucky charm. The textured surface and warm, shimmering metal color lend the piece a special depth.
A particularly practical feature is the locket loop on the back , which allows an additional pendant (locket or pocket watch) to be attached to the brooch. Such so-called convertible brooches were especially popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries (during the Art Nouveau period).
