French terracotta bowl traditionally used in southwest France for preparing confit before it was stored in confit pots.
This vessel was also used for preparing all kinds of food from the 19th to the mid-20th century. The round, handmade terracotta bowl has a spout and is glazed on the inside, while the outside is made of natural stoneware - very decorative!
