Antique heavy cast iron kitchen scales from Alexianerwerk. The dial is made of enamel and in an extremely good condition. The entire cast iron part (front and back) is richly decorated in the style of the 1890s, where a transition from historicism to Art Nouveau is clearly visible. The scale pan is made of brass and has acquired just as much patina over years of use.
