Jørgen Jensen is known as the son of the legendary silversmith Georg Jensen, although he is just as skilled. After training in Germany, he was employed in his father's workshop in Denmark and also worked independently in Sweden, making both silver and pewter jewelry. He is known for using pewter (instead of silver) in the manufacture of many of his jewelry creations.
